Residency : Ciemulator Dance Theatre
Through a humorous and poetic approach, SEETHROUGH tells the story of two young women with distinct personalities who both experience their lives in society (a world of appearances) in a very different way. Eventually, they find a common ground by detaching themselves from clothes and self-image, using the fabrics as an instrument to make an original choreography. The show is created under the eyes of pedestrians, outdoor witnesses who are later invited to cross over to the other side of the window display. The piece is inspired by the way we perceive oneself or one another based on the choice of an attire. Appearance, fashion, two women in shop windows, a glance at society.
