IN RESIDENCY: COLLECTIF NOUAGE
Young interdisciplinary collective based in Geneva, NOUAGE is the encounter of Arnaud Bacharach (choreographer and dancer), Sophie Le Meillour (visual artist), Simon Thiébaud (fashion designer), Marilou Jarry (photographer), Pierre Moreau and Clément Bruneau (musicians). A visual artist, a stylist, a dancer, a photographer and two musicians who have decided to collectively share the same goal: to forge links between the arts, between artists, and between people.
From April 11th to 18th, the group will stay for the second time at the Flux Laboratory to put the finishing touches to their project "Spectare".
Spectare outlines the fact of looking at something through different angles. The project started from the fundamental difference between seeing things or watching them. Spectare focuses on the experience of the senses and perception to experiment vision, hearing, and the notion of space.
The diversity of the collective's artistic practices makes it possible to set up this experience. Through video, light, projection, sound, dance, costumes, another world is revealed. This world is one of abstraction, which becomes and mergers through concrete of space.
