Road Opera - The Last Vegas Show
28. May 2012

Eternal Tour is organising an “expo party” at Flux Laboratory, to mark the final performance of Deserting Las Vegas, an experimental and interdisciplinary piece for seven performers, thought of as a work in progress. The piece is performed here in a broken manner and resembles a collection of memories spread out in space.

Six months after the play having opened, the impressions of Deserting Las Vegas as a whole are spreading and are answered in Flux Laboratory’s performances: music, singing, dancing, moving images, conversations, natives, torrential rain, Mexican snow, motor homes, hot dogs and cocktails find open and sensitive resonance among the visitors over the course of the performance. We return to those memories, lose our sense of time, and are offered the scraps of a subjective journey.
